Why Most Traders Fail
Most traders don't lose for lack of indicators. They lose because an indicator only tells you what price already did — and by the time the signal fires, the move is gone.
Indicator Overload
Cluttered charts, conflicting signals, and analysis paralysis. Indicators react to price — they don't predict it.
Entering Too Late
By the time most traders enter, the move is already obvious. Poor risk-reward and emotional decisions follow.
Strategy Hopping
Jumping from one system to another, never building consistency. The issue isn't the strategy — it's the process.

Five concepts that change how you look at a chart — the same ones worth coming back to on every trade.
Reading structure in action: a break of structure (BOS) continues the trend, while a change of character (CHoCH) is the first sign it may be reversing — the core skill price action is built on.
Reading Market Structure
Tell a trend from a range from a turn, so you know which way the market is leaning before you act.
Support & Resistance That Works
Not all levels are equal. Learn to spot the ones that attract institutions vs. retail traps.
Momentum Shift Detection
Recognize when the balance of power shifts between buyers and sellers before the move happens.
Entry Confirmation Logic
Stop guessing entries. Use a confirmation-based framework that defines risk before reward.

Indicators aren't useless — they're just derived from price and always a step behind it. Here's how the two approaches compare on what matters.
| What matters | Pure Price Action | Indicator-Based |
|---|---|---|
| Signal timing | Reads price as it happens — you see structure form live. | Lags: most indicators are averages of past prices. |
| What it shows | Where buyers and sellers actually acted (structure, levels). | A smoothed derivative of that same price data. |
| Chart clutter | Clean chart — price, structure, and key levels only. | Often stacked signals that conflict with each other. |
| Decision basis | Objective levels: entry, stop, and target defined by structure. | Crossovers and thresholds that repaint or whipsaw. |
| Works across markets | Yes — any liquid market with a chart. | Yes, but settings often need re-tuning per market. |

Do I need trading experience to learn price action?
No. Price action is where most traders should start, because it teaches you to read the chart itself. If you can identify a higher high and a lower low, you have enough to begin.
Which markets does price action work on?
Any liquid market with a chart — stocks, forex, crypto, commodities, and indices, anywhere in the world. Structure, support/resistance, and confirmation behave the same across them.
Do I have to give up all my indicators?
Not necessarily. The goal is to read price first so you understand what an indicator is reacting to. Many traders keep one or two, but stop relying on them for the decision itself.
How much capital do I need to practise?
Price action works at any account size — the skill is reading price, not deploying size. Start small (or on a demo), risk a fixed, small percentage per trade, and never risk money you can't afford to lose.
