What Is VASA Funded Trader?
The Funded Trader Track is about surviving a prop-firm evaluation, not predicting the market. Most people fail on a rule — an oversized day that breaches the max daily loss, or a misread of static vs trailing drawdown — not on a bad strategy. The industry figure is that only around 7% of challenge buyers ever reach a payout, and most of that gap is rules, not skill.
So the track treats the rulebook as the strategy: which firm and evaluation model fits you, how max daily loss and drawdown actually work, how to size so you can’t breach them, and how to build personal rules stricter than the firm’s. It’s education — no pass-rate, payout, or income is promised.
A taste: why max daily loss ends most evaluations
- 1Max daily loss is a hard floor on how much your account can drop in a single day — and it usually counts open trades, not just closed ones. Touch it, even intraday, and the evaluation is over.
- 2Most people fail here by oversizing: a couple of normal losers plus one revenge trade breaches the limit in an afternoon. The rule didn’t beat them — their position size did.
- 3The fix is structural, not emotional: size so the worst realistic day still sits well inside the limit — a common approach is risking against HALF the firm’s daily limit and setting a personal daily stop stricter than theirs.

How much time per week does this take?
There's no fixed requirement, but plan for a few hours a week: watching the modules, then screen time marking up charts and journaling your trades. Skill comes from repetition — people who practice deliberately see change; people who touch it occasionally usually don't.

Do I need prior trading experience?
